We use real ephemeris data to calculate your full natal placements — Sun, Moon, Rising, all ten planets, twelve houses, and major aspects — from your birth date, time, and place. This is the same astronomical math any professional astrologer uses. We do not generate it; we compute it.

When you opt into the African Cosmos reading, we cast your primary Odù — one of the 256 sacred signs of Ifá divination. The interpretations are drawn from established Ifá literature and reviewed for fidelity to Yoruba tradition. We name sources, we do not invent symbolism, and we do not present Ifá as a feature among features — it is treated as a tradition we are guests inside.

If you submit dreams to the Oracle, their symbolism is threaded into your daily readings over the days that follow. The system looks for repeated motifs — water, animals, thresholds, people — and surfaces them when the transit makes them relevant. Your dreams are private to you.

Once the four inputs are computed, Lovable AI writes your reading. It does three things, in order: it names the day's transit in language pulled from your chart's voice; it threads in any relevant dream symbolism from the past week; it offers one ritual — small, doable, specific to today.

What the AI does not do: predict your future, replace a therapist, or speak as an oracle. It is an interpreter. The astrology is real. The Ifá is sourced. The dreams are yours. The AI's job is to make the four legible to you in fewer than 200 words by sunrise.

You can read every reading you've ever received in your journal, and you can delete any of it at any time.

How we work with Ifá

·Odù interpretations draw from public Ifá literature and are reviewed against established Yoruba scholarship before they ship.

·We name Ifá as Ifá. We do not relabel it as "African astrology" or compress it into the Western zodiac.

·We are actively building an advisory circle of practicing Babaláwo and Yoruba scholars to review the tradition's representation as the product evolves.
